For
2007, Darren Robertson enters his third year in the ultra-tough Late
Model division. Father Jerry has proudly seen his son already rack up
many notable accomplishments in his still-early racing career. During
2004, Darren ran in Colorado
National Speedway's Grand American Modified division. He notched one feature win and finished second in the
championship standings en route to capturing the division's Rookie of
the Year award. During his 2005 Late Model campaign, he took the top rookie
award at CNS, and also won a special event at Big Country Speedway in
Cheyenne WY. Last season, Darren competed in USLMA, NASCAR Elite
division, and CNS Late Model events - he finished eighth in the track's
final Late Model standings.
Darren
started driving midgets when he was 15, and has been driving
go-carts recreationally since he was a small child.
