For 2006, Darren Robertson enters his second year in the ultra-tough Late Model division. Father Jerry has proudly seen his son already rack up many notable accomplishments in his still-early racing career. In 2004, Darren ran in Colorado National Speedway's Grand American Modified division. He notched one feature win and finished second in the championship standings en route to capturing the division's Rookie of the Year award. Running Late Models last season, he took the top rookie award at CNS, and also won a special event at Big Country Speedway in Cheyenne WY.

Darren started driving midgets when he was 15, and has been driving go-carts recreationally since he was a small child.
